Our students also wear sneakers or sports shoes. Sometimes girls don't wear ties. Also we have some students who don't want to wear school uniform. 

Uniforms at Marble High School, The Bronx, USA

Hi, I'm Nelva, and I go to Marble Hill School for International Studies. Here, we don't have an uniform, we have a dress code. It's a white shirt with a collar, either button up, or a polo. The pants has to be dress pants, has to be black, khaki, navy blue, brown or grey, and the shoes has to be all black. Also the boys are mandated to wear a tie, while for the girls, it's optional. Also the boys has to tuck in their shirt. The point of the dress code is to have some freedom, but also has to look professional.
